1993 reached

The time machine is working! Well, I had to fix another bug to do it. This time in DMA again. The Solaris 2.3/sparc can be installed under qemu!

Submitted the patch upstream. After it gets accepted, it should be possible to use Solaris 2.5.1- instructions from the how-to to install Solaris 2.3. I wonder if the patch also improves the situation with NetBSD 5.x stability. Feel free to report.

And now... Some screenshots.

The ASCII graphics didn't look that nice as the one from Solaris 2.6.

At first it was quite pessimistic and expected that a complete install would take more than one hour.

But in one minute it realized that it won't need more than 10 minutes.

September 1993, Generic sun4m sparc...
Thanks Carey and neozeed for helping to test it.

Could dive even a few months deeper into the past if I get my hands on SunOS 4.1.3 (I think it's the oldest one which can be boot on SS-5).
